anyone had any experience with them??? wished they had swapable caps.. hows the responce? clear or... anything would be cool thanks.

I used one for a little while and had an OK experience. I was powering it with the 9v adapter (just a plain cord that hooks up to one regular 9v battery) and the little red light stayed on but when I checked my recording there were drop outs and eventually cut out because apparently the battery light will stay lit when its at 6.2v? or something like that. Other than that it worked for what I needed it to do.

but as for sound?? how was it?
-
well when I was using one it was with a minidisc. I cant really compare the sound to anything exept going mic into minidisc which was just horrible and 391>dmic20>c02>minidisc (<-what I ran with the c02). Ive had a few patchers that used it and had no complaints about the sound (i was running 483>dmic20>m1) but hopefully someone else can chime in on this one since I cant really answer the question.

I get the feeling that one of you is talking about Samson CO2 mics and the other is talking about the S/PDIF converter
