Net rumours are true, ADAM A7 ribbon tweetered active monitors are something worth listening to if you are looking for smallesh (6.5" bass-midrange) nearfield monitors. I compared them to 8030 Genelecs and ADMS A7 were so much smoother and revealing at the same time that I bought the boxes right away. Now I am actually selling my main monitor/250W amp system worth about $4000 and replace them with these*, originally meant to be my PC monitors. A7:s cost about $1000 pair.
*) but keeping the Genelec 7071 sub. Small monitors, be they great or not, can not reproduce lows at realistic levels or at all, it is the laws of physics.
