Recorded a band rehearsal Friday night. Ran Healy with a comparison between my new Peluso Omnis and my new 451 omnis. Definitely feeling slutty breaking in two new sets of mics/  .

Both produced really nice recordings and that mic config is a gem. The Peluso's ran way hotter than the 451's, with the akg's being a little warmer, but in the end, I have myself two really nice sets of mics...now I might need a 4 channel all-in-one.

So, which set did you prefer(what mics?)

I thought the Pelusos would be warmer than the AKG's, but just goes to show, you will never know until one runs it themselves to find out I'd LOVE to hear a few 1-minute samples of each set of mics

I've tried converting the 1 minute files to mp3 and also flac but they are larger than the 512 the board allows. Any thoughts?

Use a file service like sendspace.com.

Thanks for the assist. FTP is something I'll get familiar with real quick.

I think I uploaded...actually each file twice...i think.

Just took a look at the directly... Does not look like anything was uploaded.

Back on subject.... I'm getting my modded TLs back in the next couple of days.... Should hopefully get to test them at a rehearsal at the end of the week and then really break them in at Joshua Tree Roots fest this weekend.
