Title: American Airlines Cable Problem
Post by: intpseeker on April 10, 2008, 11:43:31 PM
(New York AP)

FAA officials revealed today that American Airlines' cable problems began when an inspector noticed maintenance entries noting that the cables were..."musical, warm, and open with a truly three dimensional sound stage..."

Upon physically inspecting the cables, officials found them bundled with green Velcro ties bearing the labels 'red lettuce' and 'romaine', but the final straw was the Neutrik solderless connectors.

"The FAA realizes that opinions vary regarding cables, but this was just over the top, and we felt that we had to protect the sonic sensibilities of the public. Of course, YMMV", stated spokesperson Canare Mogami.
