not familiar with dvd-a, do these play in most dvd players basically all they put is sound on there and no video? or do you have to have a dvd-a capable player? also is it 16/48?
-
You must have a dvd-a player to play dvd-a. There is usually no video, but I think it can handle video, i know discwelder at least gives you a menu option where you can display the tracks, etc.. through video.
It supports stereo up to 24/192 and 5.1 surround up to 24/96

ok who has a version of disc welder that I can copy?
-
no way to copy discwelder - it has a USB dongle and some other serious copy protection - damon can shed more light but let's just say it's totally impossible to copy
-
i like www.acousticsounds.com. a little pricey, but they have everything ever put out on DVD-A.
-
are there any other ways to burn dvd-a other than disc welder?
-
it's actually the cheapest way to do it...the security system is pretty impressive...your processor generates a unique code, you send it to them, they send you a unique activation key that only works on your machine...if you want to install the software on two machines, you need a usb dongle and the software only works in the machine with the dongle.
was able to author my first gapless dvd-a tonight.
