Car iPod Kit
« on: April 30, 2008, 10:25:08 AM »
Does anyone have any experience with the car ipod kits?  I don't want to do the radio transmitter thing, but I want to be able to use my iPhone in the car- it's a 2006 Honda CR-V.  I'd prefer not to change out the factory in dash changer...

1) does it have a line in option (either by dual rca jacks on the back of the unit, or a 1/8th inch on the front)?
2) Does it have a tape deck (you could an oldschool tape adaptor)?

Those are your best options.

No line in option and I don't want to use a tape deck as they end up sounding like junk.

A quick google searched turned these up:

I'm sure there are cheaper versions...

I'd love to get a feel to see if anyone has used these before- just so I know I'm not wasting my money.
