microtrack mt 2 and phantom powered mics!
« on: March 15, 2010, 12:49:37 PM »
Hi guys!

Since the microtrack mt 2 have 48v phantom power I wonder if anyone here has experience using any 48v mics with this bitbucket!

my questions are basically...

1. can you use a set of 48v mics with XLRs via XLR to 1/4" adapters and use the 48v phantom power from the mt2?

2. How long will the internal batteries power mics that way?

3. If this set up works, where can I get those adapters? ;)

Cheers!

/N

It's true, but I'm not sure whether my (now abandoned) MT II is typical or not in that respect.
music > microphones > a recorder of some sort
