Opinions Please: Busman HD-P2 vs. Stock HD-P2

I ran the Tascam HD-P2 stock (with no external preamp) at Summercamp and frankly, the stock unit sounds pretty dang nice.  Punchy and quite transparent.  So, I'm hoping to get some opinions or better yet some soundbites that compares what a busman mod unit sound like against the stock unit.  Thanks in advance for any thoughts or examples!
