how do i get my MKWact to convert my files?

oh isee its not for flac.....then y cant i hear or burn these files ???

Go here and download the FLAC installer for Windows

Fire up FLAC Frontend.  Drag & drop the files into FLAC Frontend.  Press the Decode button.

Nope, can't do it on Roxio.  WMP won't have a clue, either.  Gotta use FLAC to decode.

In order to burn audio discs, you have to decode the FLAC files to WAV, just like with Shorten you have to decode the SHN files to WAV.  Just like if you want access to zipped files, you have to decode the ZIP file.

If all you want to do is listen to the FLAC files on your PC, then there's a FLAC plug-in for Winamp, but I haven't used it.  You can probably find it at the FLAC homepage:

flac.sourceforge.net

If you follow my prevous post, the outcome will be WAV files you can burn to audio CDs with Roxio.
