Stripped AKG Bar
« on: July 29, 2003, 11:41:33 PM »
I have an AKG Bar that i havent been able to  use because the center hole that would screw onto the stand is almost totally stripped.
Anyone know if i can get it re-threaded anywhere?

Call a few local machining shops, I would think that perhaps even auto shops that do work on exhausts or local plumbers might have tapping dies.

It's a 3/4" rough or 3/4-20 I believe...

This Lebowski, he called himself the Dude. Now, Dude, that's a name no one would self-apply where I come from. But then, there was a lot about the Dude that didn't make a whole lot of sense to me. And a lot about where he lived, like- wise. But then again, maybe that's why I found the place s'durned innarestin'.
