Hi there,
I'm not a DAT expert and I'm trying to figure out why my recently acquired Fostex D5's counter runs slowly when running an LP tape. The sound it generates isn't great either. It runs short-play tapes flawlessly though. I've tried both optical and headphone outputs.
I don't have another DAT player or another LP tape handy, unfortunately. But I thought I'd still ask since it might definitely be my ignorance regarding DAT players.
