Title: How's this for an OTG drive?

and to that I would add a 20gb laptop hard drive off ebay that can be had pretty cheap.

I like how it has an external battery sled using AA's, but I'm worried about speed of transfers? Any opinions here? Thanks.

did you ever get this and how did it work for you?
I'm looking for a drive that can handle folder directories etc, either from a card reader or stick the cf card in it.
I have heard issues with some OTG drives not being able to power up a card reader and copy at the same time unless it was connected to another power source.

I think Andrew went with the Hyperdrive HD-80...http://www.hypershop.com/shop/

That model is discontinued now but I bought their updated model, the Hyperdrive Space and it has worked flawlessly for me.
I'm not sure about your more specific questions though.
