Title: How good is 3.6 meg a second?

So i know just about nothing about this kind of stuff. what would the quality of a video that is at 3.6 megabytes per second Be? good? bad? it sounds ok to me. But like i said i don't know anything about this stuff.

It sounds like you are dealing with DV-AVI video. Video that comes from a miniDV, Digital8 camera (and other types of cams) are transferred at 3.6 megabytes per second over Firewire. This is an exact copy of what's on the tape, so it's the best you can get.
