6v SLA Question

Built my 1st SLA with a Powersonics 6vc 7Ah. Just purchased a 6v 12Ah will this be ok? I dont want to fry anything.

The higher AH rating will just give you power for a longer duration.  Changing the voltage is what may or may not cause a problem with your gear.  You're fine.

u may have a problem with the charger not floating, just be aware and watch the battery. i had that problem and had to have a charger mod'd for 12amp hr batts. ymmv

I think you need a 1000mA charger... most "normal" chargers are 600mA I believe.

I could be way off on the numbers though- the point is you need more charging current.
