Topic: Laptop Question

Hey all-

I hope to be buying a laptop soon, mainly for school/work purposes.  That being said I'd like to cart it to a show now and then when the situation is right.

My question is, is there anything to keep in mind (spec. wise) in regards to recording with it, that I wouldn't normally think about (when just buying a PC to be a PC)?
