Title: Transmit Mac FTP Software
Post by: RRobar on December 29, 2003, 12:52:02 PM
Just wondering if any of you mac heads here have used Transmit for ftp. I just grabbed the demo since I had to upload to a prepress house. Pretty easy to use. Just curious.

I use it all the time - great program; one of the few I've actually legitimately registered. :P It doesn't have a queueing feature built in (not that I could find, anyway) but I don't do a whole lot of downloading anyway...

There is a queue feature - go to View > Show Queue Drawer.  Not the most intuitive place to put it, but it's there.

Also, for SFTP, check out Fugu.  Some friends of mine at UMich designed it (and won a couple of Apple Awards for it).  http://rsug.itd.umich.edu/software/fugu/
