Soundforge Tutorial??
« on: December 15, 2003, 06:24:39 PM »
Does anyone know of a good website that has a step by step tutorial on how to correctly use Soundforge to transfer DAT > WAV via D8 > Audiophile 2496?  Got 1 transfer to work correctly, now I am getting a recording that sounds sped up.  I don't think I have all the options set right, and if there is an on-line resource available, I should be able to iron everything out.

Happy Festivus for the restovus!

Sounds like a sample rate mismatch.  Check your soundcard/software settings.

I have it set correctly with the card, I am just not sure if I have everything set correctly with the software.

Have you checked the Help file?  I use CEP, and it's Help file is very, very good.  Dunno about SF, though...and obviously, some Help files suck.  May be worth a shot, though.

Are you sure the original sample rate is 44.1?

I had a similiar problem and found my original dat was @48, so

Also you want to check that the spdif in master clock is selected and not the interal audiophile one.

Im using delta dio 2496 and used these tips to fix my problems.
