Title: advice for 007 in the age of metal detectors

I haven't done an "unobtrusive recording" in a couple of decades, and am planning on recording a show this friday.  I know strategies that worked before the age of ubiquitous metal detectors, but would love some private replies with suggestions for getting my dpa 4015gs (similar to schoeps collette) and mma in.  Does "give them something to find" still work?
