Alright guys, been thinking about doing this for awhile, but wasn't 100% sure where to start..
software or controller? pros cons?
what software should i use?
any good tutorials (i surfed, but didnt see anything great)
raid 1, 5 or 9? which do you think? prolly 1 eh?

RAID 0 is "striping", thereby, your capacity is equal to the sum of your 2 drives.
of course, if 1 drive goes down, you loose the data on the other drive as well . . .

Yes, you are correct. I meant to say that say you have a 40 Gig and a 30 Gig, you will get only 60 Gig capacity instead of 70. :D
