So the puppy got her teeth on my Sennheiser 595's and chewed the cable off right where the cable meets the headphones. The headphones themselves are fine, just lacking a cable. Is it possible to get the cable replaced, or do I need to buy a new set of headphones? which wouldn't be that bad either...mmm, HD-600's

there are guys on audiogon selling upgraded cables for sennheiser headphones.

Is the cable fixed or can it be detatched? Sennheiser USA stocks replacement parts for their headphones so it's possible that they'd be able to sell you a replacement cable or service the headphones.

That's the part I'm not sure about. The Sennheiser webpage says it's detachable, but headroom says no.
Connector: 6.3mm stereo jack with 3.5mm adapter(both gold plated) 10ft cable, (OFC), single-sided, changeable
Detachable Cable: No
I am confuzzled.

what he say!
Sennheiser is one of the best companies for replacement parts like cords and earpads
They were also very stand-up on the repair of my HD414s and HD424s back in the day.
They used to have a storefront in Manhattan, near or on Canal St., I think...
I'm sure that it's all mail order now.
Anyhow, the brochure says changeable and the picture makes it look attached.
Their web parts thingy says only the adapters are available, no cushions, nor cables....hmmm, very unSennheiser-like
