Just an update on this...

I'm sticking with Windows 10 for audio editing. I just love using CuBase with Waves plug-ins. There's nothing close in Linux from what I've seen. I've got a two core 16GB RAM PC tower that runs Win 10 fairly well.

But, I've switched to Linux Mint for almost everything else. So, I'm duel booting an old laptop with Win10/Linux Mint and it's working great. FWIW, Win 10 isn't that bad. And, you can still upgrade to Win10 for free if you have a valid Win7 install key...

Getting emails and working with doc files and HTML in Linux is fine.
