i want to be able to play FLACs and iTunes files on my home stereo. they would be played from my iPad, iPhone or Mac. what AirPlay devices are people using to connect to their home stereo. i have an Onkyo receiver.

currently, i'm using Chromecast Audio and HiFi Cast (on Android only), but its not stable, so I want to find a new way to do this.

I have a whole mess of Airport Expresses, and play music either from iTunes or from Clementine/Strawberry via Airfoil. The Airport Expresses aren't still in production, but there are tons of used ones out there for sale.
