looking for a couple overhead mic stands to mic some drums

what are some reccomendations,a nd some good places to get the best price

go to your local discount music chain (guitar center, mars, musicians friend) and get a tripop mic stand with boom arm. you can get them for $15 each, and they will work fine

sometimes you can get a buy 1 get 1 free

don't go too crazy..spend the money on the mics, not what holds the mics

thanks guys, i was thinking just the cheapo boom arm mic stands, which the band allready has. but i never thought about the counterweight idea
