Topic: nearly complete setup

While I'll take pics to share with everyone at some point, my playback setup is nearly complete.

source: PC with SPDIF out of Sek'd Prodif Plus
or
source: Mac with Firewire out

DAC: Metric Halo ULN-2
Amp: PS Audio HCA-2
Speakers: Von Schweikert VR-1s on VR Stands

I suppose cable upgrades are the next logical step, but it'll be some time before that happens. I want to make short balanced runs between the ULN-2 and HCA-2 and upgrade speaker cable.

The amp is due to arrive in a week or two!

Haha ... when it arrives, all in good time. Of course, I'll need to borrow a digital camera for that as well.

This is one hell of an upgrade from the college system of computer w/ Prodif > ULN-2 > Denon AVR-1603 receiver > really old Sony speakers.
