Shure Beta 98 A/C Compact Cardioid Microphone

Anyone have have experience with these mics? They seem nice and compact with decent specs. They come with a nice suspended mount, too. I wonder if there are different caps available. It looks to be about the same size as a chopped Nak 700.

These mics are used primarily on drums and percussion in live sound.  They sound great in this application.  Not sure if they would be useful for tapers as I've always jammed them right up against sound sources.

99% sure this line does not have interchangeable caps.
