Title: Sony ECM 929-LT manual?

hi guys,

anyone have a manual for this mic? i've looked around the web and haven't had any luck... been using one lately, and just wanted some specs.

Hi, I bought one of these mics new about 10 years ago or more.  It was expensive for what it is at that time I remember (about $299 to $399).
I recall that it was not a very good mic to tape concerts with (which is what I was trying to do at that time 10 years ago).  I recall that it practically had no bass response at all.  It sounds as if there is a permanent bass roll off turned on.  For just a vocal mic it would be okay I guess.  Because of this it sat on the shelf all these years still unused.  Wasted my money on it!
I do have the manual and original carrying case and even the card board Sony box that it all goes into still (think pack rat, I keep almost everything!). But the problem is I have to find the case which has the instruction manual in it. If I find it I will post the specs up for you.  But I don't know what you mean by the -LT manual.  I am not sure if my version is a -LT or not.  fyi.

Okay, I found my Sony ECM-959A box with all the accessories and users manual.  Actually the users manual is not a book or phamplet but a gigantic huge one folded up page.  I hate that but I will now take a lot of time to type in the specifications read from the gigantic one sheet of folded up instructions for you.

Also the Sony ECM-959A instructions say this:

Battery Installation
When to replace the battery:
When the power is turned on, the battery check indicator lights momentarily. When the battery becomes weak, the indicator remains dimly it or does not light at all. In this case, replace the battery with a new one.

I just noticed that you said ECM-929 mics and I had given you specs for the ECM-959A mics.  I don't have the ECM-929-LT mic you speak of.  Sorry.  Anyway, maybe the info I provided will help someone else out one day.

Although this is a French site, the operating instructions are also in English and in German languages.
It's not the genuine .pdf file but a digitized version.

NOTE: This mic uses a "Mercury battery, IEC designation MR44 (ANSI M15)". A Sony mercury battery EPX675 was supplied with it.
