Title: New small 9v battery box needed!
Post by: nicegrin on November 26, 2013, 01:19:32 PM
Hi all!

Seems like my old SP SPSB-8 batterybox is starting to give up on me (right channel dissapears when I move to much so there seem to be some kind of glitch in it!).

I need a small and endurable 9v battery box with 3.5 mini jacks (male/female) that doesn´t crap out on me when I move.

What is my best option?

Thanks
Nicegrin

Church ugly no question as far as i'm concerned. Rock solid (no pun) and bomb proof.

Before you get rid of your current equipment, try cleaning your jack and plug. I do this whether it needs it or not about 3x a year for preventative maintenance:

I was recently asked to look at one exhibiting the same symptom.   The cable was broken, about 6" back from the 3.5mm jack.  I cut the cable back and fitted a new plug.  It is highly unlikely to be anything internal.
