Just seeing if anyone knows of any good deals out there. I just purchased some Panasonic blanks through B&H for $2.39 each. Where does everyone get theirs?

sams club - 8pack for $20

I always stick to one brand per camera. The people I trust about this stuff use strictly panasonic tapes.
That being said, I put hundred of TDK's (from costco, 10 pack for $24.99) through my Sony HC21's before I learned that. So now in my Sony PC1000 I use strictly Panasonics and have stuck with the TDK's for the HC21's.
In fact, I just ordered today from www.tapestockonline.com and see you're getting a slightly better deal on the 60min at BandH (mine were $2.45). But I also buy the 83's for those special occasions and tapestockonline has the best price on those by far.

Yeah, I ran probably 75-100 "other" brand tapes through my Panasonics before I was told to stick to only one kind of tape. I got them cleaned and have only run the Panasonics through them since.
Thanks for the feedback, looks like I'm pretty much on track with what everyone else is paying. If I buy them local it's a crapshoot as to what's available and I have to pay taxes. If I buy them online I only have to pay shipping, which was just about what the taxes were.

Use the brand of tape that your camera uses... Sony to Sony, Panasonic to Panasonic. Other cameras don't always make their own tapes, but stick to either Panasonic or Sony tapes in your camera and don't switch.
I get mine from B&H.

Wow! After seeing this thread, I thought I would check out their prices on DVD-RAM discs.

Holy crap! This is the same package I buy at Fry's for $11.95! That's a huge mark-up. Man, I wonder how many people are getting hosed when they buy these?
FYI - I thought maybe this was five 5-packs, but reading the description, and the fact that you can't set the QTY to anything but multiples of 5, leads me to believe they really do want $14 a disk.
