DVR out put dongal???

is there such a thing?  guessing analog out would deff work.  looking to pull a few high school basketball games off my in laws DVR box.  would like to go usb into a laptop if possible.  any help would be great.  thanks,   ed

What's your budget? If you don't mind spending $150, check out this Hauppauge model. It accepts component and composite inputs, so you shouldn't have any issues getting video off your DVR.

Why not try and capture via firewire out of the DVR? As long as the box has firewire, and you have a firewire jack on laptop you should be good to go. (I do this all the time with my motorola dvr boxes)
