Topic: Schoeps MK4V's setups?

Curious if anyone is using MK4Vs with active cables in anything other than ortf and how they are mounting them.I know the Schoeps CMXY4V has the 2 caps mounted side by side at 90* for XY,but I dont think thats the right way to do XY.Shouldnt the caps be ontop of eachother,rather than side by side?
I currently use a vark bar with Schoeps SGCM clips,but can only get ortf with that setup.If the Vark bar was a little longer I could use it for DIN or XY,but its about 1/8in too small.
Ideas anyone??
