Wall Mart battery for Mp2, anyone use it?

Just wondering if anyone has try running the Wall Mart battery for this. Thinking about putting a mp-2 in front of my ua-5. Let me know.
-Out of the game for a bit, probably forever-

I have, it works fine (my walmart batt is 9v).  It will take anything from 6-15v i believe...

yep, i use it too, the longest i have ever run it is 3.5 hours, but it didnt even take one light off the battery! i think that it will run the mp2 for a long time.

not that with that your ever worried about batts, but if your ever using AA's you can drop the phantom down to 15v with your mics (AKG C391's) and there will be absolutly no difference in sound.  Didn't know if you were aware of that.
