Post by: Youneverno41 on August 22, 2005, 07:41:16 PM
My parents bought me two Shure KSM 109s, and they sound great, in fact i love them.  This mics can be used for taping, correct?

Yes, those will get you started.

What else do you have?  What are you using for a power supply?

The UA5 will provide phantom so that is all you need.  I asked about the power supply because the KSM109 user manual says they will run on a wide range of voltage but with 48K they will sound best.

You might want to pick up some shock mounts and a stereo bar too.

Nice going.  Not even starting as a patcher, just getting the mics right at the start.
