Title: busman mod 680 vs busman mod r4
Post by: waltmon on July 22, 2013, 12:28:50 PM
Other than the additional channels...is there any difference performance wise? I know the 680 has editing differences etc...I'm mostly talking about over all sound quality etc.

Im VERY CURIOUS to hear a comp of a stock 680 vs. a busman 680 :) I think the stock 680 sounds killer by itself too

I'm told the biggest improvement is noted running as a standalone...I'm planning to run my upgraded busman mod Ua5 > the digi in...with the other modded analog input channels for additional mics or board matrix stuff...should be lretty tough.

Yeah Im sure id run mics>680 without an external preamp, id much rather run caps>kcy>LB>680 because I just LOVE the Schoeps>LB[OT] sound. Thats why I have [2] LBs ;)
