JB3 ? that's not on the faq
« on: November 17, 2006, 03:26:27 PM »
Hi, I saw the jb3 faq, but one thing I didnt notice, if I'm able to change recording levels on the fly while in analog line in. Can this be done while in a recording state for line in or optical in?

If not can somone recomend me a HD player that does it?

Thanks! :)

yes you can set the levels on the fly while recording via analog in. You don't set the levels on the JB3 when recording via optical in.

I recently picked up an h3xx; I haven't used it in the field yet, but I've been testing it around and it seems very stable.  I've gotten up to 10 hours record time on it, and haven't noticed any issues at all.  Rockbox rules!

I made the mistake once... When you do that, the recording gets paused :-\
