What are people using for external power on these?  Will the 12volt ECO work, or is there a "lighter" option???

The Battery Geek BG 10-14-88 lasts forever with it, and sits neatly on top of it (even squeezes uncomforably into the case with the MR1000).  I've had no issues (though I'm mainly using my SD722 these days).

they aren't as quiet as I had hoped on a unamplified 3 piece i recorded.  If i do that again, i will run an external for sure.  Haven't run it alone for a loud show yet.
