agreed...I wish it would sound good from a multitude of angles...would love to get out of running cables all over the place for proper surround sound

agreed...I wish it would sound good from a multitude of angles...would love to get out of running cables all over the place for proper surround sound

don't know of exact models, but supposedly there are some pretty good wireless systems out there for the rear surrounds.

don't know of exact models, but supposedly there are some pretty good wireless systems out there for the rear surrounds.

yeah, in the next house that will be the direction I look into...

the way to go is to have the speaker cable snaked through the wall during framing and mounting speakers.  I have flat white speaker cable that i wrapped around the door frames and nailed to the baseboards and run to the speakers.  it's painted the same color as the wall where it's exposed.  you really don't know it's there.  runs to these that are mounted high on the wall, people never notice them until you hear em.

I paid Ryland $750 for the pre-wired for surround sound speakersoption and have yet to buy the speakers to hook the wires up to. After the fact, someone told me I should have just found out what day they were putting in the drywall and showed up a day earlier and wired it myself and saved the $750.

yeah, that is my goal...all depends on the timing of when I sell my house and if I buy a house already constructed or in build stage
