ok so I am getting ready to throw together a 9v batt box for a set of at mics. I am trying to step away from the rather large and bulky 8531 power packs (ones not soo bad but two is a crowd).
i found the simple enough schematic :

image courtsey of hyperplanes post not sure if image credit is his or graemcoggers
my question is when I am installing the jacks on the batt box. which pins are what.. Is it like a standard xlr where 1 is (black wire in pic) ground. 2 is (red wire in pic) hot. 3 is (yellow wire in pic) send/cold?
Or is AT the reverse of 2/3?
Thanks so much in advance!
