So right now I have two 1tb WD drives that are replicates. Both are backed up by Backblaze.
I'm sick of plugging one drive in and out when I need the second USB port for burning discs.
I'm about to pick up a WD Element 8tb to replace the two 1tb drives, and to afford greater storage. It will be backed up by Backblaze.
Also considering the "My Book" WD 8tb which is seems to be the same except that it adds recovery software.
Seem sound?
Thanks!

Bigger disks are always a good idea what with disk space cheap, but then you lose the benefit of having a local backup in addition to Backblaze.
Couldn't you just get a USB hub and keep your current setup?

Or move one/both into your computer and plugged into the mobo?

mobo means motherboard. If you have a laptop, this is probably not a practical option. Though some laptops with internal optical drives can be swapped to contain a second hard drive or SSD.
