I'm eying a pair of these, but looking for some feedback on the sound quality. Can't find much about them on the web except a few general reviews. What I have found says they are fantastic speakers for the price with a big soundstage & great imaging. I was hoping that someone here might have some first hand listening experience with them.

$2,500 MSRP, but there's a used pair on Agon that I've been in contact about for considerably less.

Some Audiogoners have accused DK Designs of covertly over-hyping their amplifiers on forum boards. This guy's got less than 50 hours on them and asking $1950...For only a couple hundred bucks more, you could have a brand new pair with dealer support. 10% off is $2250. You might even be able to better than that.
If I were looking for speakers on Audiogone, I would buy the Living Voice Auditorium mk. I for $1295. That speaker is hard to beat for twice the money. The mk. II versions are $4295. The mk. I's were $3295 when current.

Thanks, Chris. The pair of LSA 2's I was looking at are actually $1,200 obo. That's 50% off MSRP, which seems like a pretty good deal, especially if he'll take an obo offer.

You will need a power amp between the 902 and speakers.
-
The VR-2's would be nice, but so would having the $500 delta between a used pair & the LSA's

ahh, ok, sorry, like i said, i really know that little about playback

Those are listed as Von Schweikert VR-2's...I didn't see them. There was only one pair listed as LSA, and they are $1950 obo (http://cls.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?spkrfull&1165444931). That ad seems a little fishy to me. Just my .02. I think the Living Voice is a safer bet.

I am planning on the VR2 route as well, and then the Klipsch would become my surrounds - all I would need is that LCR-15 center and I would have a sweet two channel setup for tunes and a rocking home theater for flicks.... >:D

I agree the VR-2's would be nice. I was hoping to save some $ to invest in a new LSD2 to play around with some Blumlein & M/S recordings though. Although, it would appear that not many people have heard these LSA's.
