Title: Recording Multitrack in Cubase

Hey
I just got Cubase SE for my lappy. I use an Edirol M-100FX with it for input. does anyone know if you can assign the seperate channels on the m-100 to different tracks in cubase?

Yes you can frist off make shure that the laptoop runing cubbase knows that the edirol is there. Make a new track. Then go to devices and prass vst inputs then tell cubbase what line that it is comeing from. like if you take a look at the m-100fx you can see 3/4 at the top is going to ch 3/4 on the fader. So waht you put in to line 3/4  on m-100fx tell  cubase in the vst inputs that it is comeing from ch 3/4 ch 5/6 and so on. Then you have to make shure that on the left of the track were you see the track name and 12 buttons make shure that tell that track that it is going to 3/4 and so on for the rest.
