Looking to get started looking for websites books etc..

I've been collecting shows for a couple of years and lately I've been thinking about taping. I am completly clueless about taping. So I was wondering if there was any sites books or posts on here that was for someone clueless about what to buy, how to set it up. Any help would be wonderful
