Topic: DVD+ or DVD-, which one do ya'll prefer?

hmmm. im not sure, i believe im copying all the audio options. they are minimal tho compared to the shit you are cutting out by re-authoring

im not real sure, i havent ripped a dvd in a few weeks tho...

i have been finding a few movies lately that dvd_shrink wont rip tho

they happened to ALL be angelina jolie movies

what programs can i use to rip protected discs like this that dvd shrink wont rip?

try using dvd decryptor.  it should rip it to your puter at whatever size the dvd is, then you'll probably have to go back into dvd shrink with it and work with it from there.

www.dvdrhelp.com has tons of "howto" guides if you get confused.  very nice step by steps and pictures to help.  its pretty easy tho, once you do it a couple of times it'll be like burning a cd.

never had a problem w/ fuji, sony, or maxell. all -r. ymmv. i get whats on sale.
