What are you recording? And if its live music save some $$ for some used mics out of the yardsale like studio projects, 391's, busmans, or Peluso's ;)

Just a mono mic, or are you looking for a stereo pair? Handheld style, or mounted?
The ADK mics linked above are the bargain of the month, but you can't really hand-hold them in the field...

Boy, that is a tough one at that price point.  My first set of mics was the Busman BSC1 kit, which is out of your price range, but maybe not TOO far out if you find a used set.  The nice thing about this set is it comes with 4 capsules, a nice mount bar and hardware, good shock mounts, and a solid custom carry case.  I did a lot of research and decided on that for my first set, and even after buying a lot of subsequent mics, still own and use my Busmans.  A nice value IMHO if you factor in everything included.  New is $450 currently, but maybe you can find a deal on used in the Yard Sale.

I have no relationship with Busman, just suggesting this mic as an option.  I liked mine enough to order another mic from him recently, but don't have it yet.

Your price range puts these in your basket

Behringer C4's http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/C-4.aspx

You won't find a lot of love for Behringer here as people are usually have much bigger budgets. I have the C2 (previous versions) and apart from being a little noisy for ambient recording are fine when recording loud sources. The C4's should be an improvement and as good as you can expect for $100.

These recordings used C2 mics...

If you're from China, you'll likely find cheaper local brands, either OEM of the Behringer, etc, or copies of famous mics.  Knowing which are good may be harder.

The Behringer C2 or C4 are not that good IMO.  They use a transsound or similar capsule.  Similar or same as the one in the Audio Technica AT2020, AT2021 mics, and the build quality is lower than the AT.  Oh yeah, Behringer C2/C4, and Studio projects C4 too, are manufactured at 797 audio.

I completely missed the China location---sorry.

There are a lot of very respectable Chinese mics sold here in the US that would probably be cheaper there.
