I rendered the avi movie to mpeg2 and wav using Vegas 8...Now I want to use Architect to have a DVD so that the movie starts of with a menu.
I have been making DVDs using Architect before but they are all movies that start from the beginning without a menu. My old DVDs I make have a menu page but it will only show up at the end of the movie or if I press the menu button on the remote...Now I want to start the movie showing the menu. Can someone explain to me how to make a fresh DVD with the mpeg (and wav) file?
Sorry for the simple question.

BTW the way I make my DVDs is like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfuS9diB45c
But when I burn it onto a DVD the movie always starts at the beginning never with a menu page. I want to start the DVD with a paused menu page not the start of the movie. Thanks!

I believe that if you right click on the menu page in the tree view on the right there is an option for play 1st or something. Then the Menu becomes the default. I can look when I get home and have the app in front if me.

I like dvdlab pro for menus etc much better than architect. I find it much more user friendly. ymmv.

Do you mean right click on the tree where you want the DVD to start and select "set DVD start"??

Yep, that did it for me.
