OK, stupid question... Buts its been about 5 years or more since I've burned a CDR and I don't have Nero anymore...
Now a friend of my wife wants CDRs of the GD50 show... And he is 60+ and totally computer illiterate... How do I burn him a CDR???
Can I do it in Windows 7 w/o the annoying 2 sec gap b/w songs (dao)???
Thanks,
Terry

I think that's going to burn a data disc, rather than a "redbook compatible" audio CDR.
Payable on a computer but not a regular CD player.

After messing with it for about half an hour I decided to say "eff it... He's getting a bunch of MP3s..."
I'll mess with it again tonight I think... Maybe not... Thanks for the help guys!

I would use EAC. You can burn a DAO music cd with it pretty easily.

Does he have a phone of any substance? There's archive apps for that.
Always surprised how far behind people can be with technology...

cdburner xp worked great for me in windows 7 and let me burn DAO without issue -- pretty darned similar to nero too.
the screenshot on cdburnerxp's homepage shows the disk at once option

With that method you have the choice of burning a data disc of audio disc through windows media player.

if your friend is an itunes user, he may actually prefer the mp3/aac files on a disc or zip file. Then he can just import / add to library into itunes.

True enough... But I don't know anything about the guy except what my wife has told me...

I had the same problem earlier this year. A guy that works near my part time job knows I like music (he works at a record shop) and brings me all sorts of live CDR's. I generally don't listen to them (mainly because the only CD player I own is in my car), but I figured I'd try to return the favor. I couldn't get my Windows 7 machine to burn a CDR to save my life. I ended up putting a bunch of MP3's of my recordings on a USB drive. Luckily he is more computer literate so he was happy.
