Title: where to place wal-mart battery?

I've traded the Radio Shack 9.6v packs for a Wal-Mart lion. Wondering how I should mount it in my gear bag. Do I run the risk of interference/noise/heat issues by placing it on top of the UA5? It would fit best there and I would secure it with velcro.

Ive never had a problem with it sitting on top or under my UA-5, so I dont see a reason why you cant set it there.

put it where ever you want!  I've never had any issues.

i keep 2 velcroed to the top of my ua5, no problems
