Title: External DVD Burner and Mobile Fidelity DVD-R blanks

I'm thinking of getting a sony external DVD burner, I hear they result in virtually 0 coasters...... Also has anyone heard of the Mobile Fidelity 24k Gold preservation discs? They're supposed to last forever. Supposedly regular DVD blanks are only good for a few years....
