ISO Wavelab 5 help
« on: October 08, 2004, 07:20:12 PM »
If someone with a good handle on how to use wavelab 5 could help I would appreciate it.   I have two recordings that I am looking to tweak.

[1]  I am looking to compress a couple small samples of music in a recording, so that I can normalize the entire wav to a higher level.

[2]  I want to reduce the level of bass in an omni recording to make it sound better on systems without a subwoofer.

Thanks.  PM me for more info if necessary.

If anyone knows this info please do post here :)

I'd love to know on the bass thing because I have an omni recording that has a ridiculous amount of bass in it.   I normally don't edit my recordings other than levels so I don't have any experience messing with other things.    Ditto on some minor wind noise fixing too if anyone knows.

In the master section, just click in an empty slot and pick the plugin that you want to use, (EQ, compressor, wahtever) and tweak it till it sounds like you want it.  Then hit the "render" button and wait for it to finish.  Done.
