Recording Particle

Particle is coming to town in a couple of weeks. Do they have vocals or just all instrumentals? I'm wondering if setting up stage lip would work for these guys?

Hmmm... The venue they are playing in Colorado Springs is a concrete and steel echo chamber. I may just do the stage lip thing if they are cool with it. Are they cool with SBD patches?

You won't get a good recording at the stage lip.  Too much stuff goes through DIs and there is not much stage sound aside from drums b/c the bands uses in-ear monitors.

No SBD access unless you get a formal OK from mgmt. which is very unlikely b/c they generally travel with a multitracker.
