editing help
« on: March 31, 2003, 07:04:01 PM »
Hey guys,

I have a recording from moe, where the volume was so damn quiet, that I had to run full on gain on the sax to get anywhere near 0 levels.  Problem is, the sound appears to have distorted due to the high levels of gain I had to use.  In retrospecxt, I should have run low gain on the sax, and mic into the mini-me, but alas, trial and error.  Anyhoo, I am looking for some reccomendations on how to fix this up to make it a bit more listenable.  I probably won't be spreading this one around, but would like to clean it up for my own enjoyment.  If you can make some specific suggestions on this, I would really appreciate it.  I have all of the common windows programs for editing, so anything will be fine.!

Thanks

Daryan
